A collection of my favorite creative photographs that, although worthy, have not been subjects for my original oil paintings.  From places far and near, the primary themes for my selections are; 'Nature' and 'Architecture'.  All are my own original high resolution digital photos taken since 2005.

Bavaria, Germany - 2005 - From the steep and winding access road, 'Neuschwanstein' castle built in the early 1800's as a retreat by the very eccentric "Mad" King Ludgwig.

Glacier Bay, Alaska - 2008 - Very close to this huge calving glacier was a tremendous experience as gigantic chunks of ice as big as railroad cars fell into the water.

Annecy, France - 2005 - "The Old Jail" in this photo dates to the 12th century and is located in the "Old Town" section of Annecy that is like stepping back in time.

Chamonix, France - 2005 - This picturesque village in the heart of the French Alps has much to offer for the explorer and the adventurer.  Site of first Winter Olympics (1924)

Lucerne, Switzerland - 2005 - The interior of "The Baroque Jesuit Church" was built in 1666/67. It is the first and one of the finest examples of baroque architecture in Switzerland.

Munich, Germany - 2005 - This is Nymphenburg Palace. The main summer residence of the rulers of Bavaria.  The central pavilion was completed in 1675.

St. Moritz, Switzerland - 2005 - A famous hotspot for winter tourism dating back to the roaring twenties. Host of the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympics.

Northern Italy - 2005 - Believe it or not, this shot was taken along the highway through the Italian Alps.  Hard to imagine people living in this valley wake up to this view every day.
